In my 4th year of university, I lifted & analyzed the first 4 tunes on Wayne Shorter's orchestral album "Alegria". This was in no way a complete "decoding" of his music, but I did learn some cool stuff along the way that I'd love to share.

In this Zoom session, I'll share the scores I transcribed & talk about some of the observations I made. We'll do some listening too!

While anyone is welcome to listen, this session falls into the "advanced jazz theory" category, so a basic grasp of functional harmony will make this discussion more engaging.
